Amazon Opens Development Center in Germany - Amazon expands operations in Germany, seeks highly skilled local talent to develop the next generation of Amazon technologies including key elements of the Amazon Web Services platform
Amazon today announced the creation of more than 70 software engineering jobs in Germany with the launch of Amazon Development Center Germany GmbH. The new entity will develop next generation technologies for Amazon and have locations in Berlin and Dresden. The teams will develop technologies to support the Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) cloud computing business, including hypervisors, operating systems, management tools and other applications as well as the development of machine learning technologies for use across all of Amazon's platforms.
